The new transportation plan issued seemed promising for the railway and transport system of Lehigh Valley.  A proposal planned at nearly $4 million is set to be allocated to the much-needed reconstruction and improvements of the rail and transportation sectors in Lehigh Valley. The state is granting this investment to Lehigh Valley. It is meant to enhance the overall conditions of almost 9 of the present crossings and tracks. The Civic Theatre in Allentown has undergone a $5 million renovation and it will re-open with some big hits this season. Popular director William Sanders is planning four premiers to mark the beginning of a new era of the rebranded Civic Theatre. Bars Open Until 4 a.m.? In Philly, It's a Possibility

New city council bill could allow bars to stay open later.

Blondell Reynolds Brown, City Councilwoman in Philadelphia, has recently put forth a bill in which she has proposed to allow some of the city’s bars to stay open until 4 a.m. as opposed to the 2 a.m. time assigned by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. This suggestion has been made for generating more revenue for Philly schools should it get signed by the state legislators.
