Lehigh Valley Zoo just welcomed a new addition to their family. This time it’s a baby Scimitar Oryx. These horned animals are extinct in the wild due to human selfishness. Some programs are working to stop this from happening, through placing cohesive systems.  The baby Scimitar has not yet been named but it will be announced on March 26th as part of a naming contest held by the zoo.
